Tickets and prices
If you bought your ticket online, you can go directly to the entrance of the permanent tour on the 1st floor. Visitors wishing to use the "My interpreter" tool (English and German translations) can pick it up at the reception/ticket office. |
It is not possible to change the date and time of a reservation. All purchases are final.
All departures from the permanent tour route are definitive. The other areas of the Cité remain accessible.
Access and services
Pets are forbidden in all indoor and outdoor areas. However, guide dogs or assistance dogs accompanying disabled card-holders are allowed in all areas. |
Visiting the permanent tour takes about 1h30.
All lost and found items must be reported to the Cité staff. Any object not claimed before the site closes is kept at the security control room for 15 days, provided it presents no danger. After this period, it is passed on to the Villers-Cotterêts municipal police (6, rue de l'Hôtel de Ville 02600 Villers-Cotterêts).
Perishable foodstuffs are not kept and are destroyed at the end of the day.

Villers-Cotterêts has a number of charging points:
- Hauterive car park, rue Ernest d'Hauterive - 3 minutes' walk from the Cité
- Lidl car park, avenue de la Ferté Milon - 10 minutes' walk from La Cité
- Swimming pool car park, rue Alfred Juneaux - 10 minutes' walk from La Cité
- Place du 8 mai: faubourg de Pisseleux - 20 minutes' walk from La Cité

No, unless the activity is part of the permanent tour. |
Yes, by making a group reservation at reservations.citelanguefr@monuments-nationaux.fr. Prices will depend on the nature of the event.
Visits are recommended for children aged 7 and over, but there are plenty of family activities for younger children all year round.

You can book your group visit up to one month before the date you wish to visit. |
