3,600 m2 of roofing to be renovated, i.e. 265,000 slates
600 m3 of ashlar to be used for the façades
280 exterior windows to be restored
1,250 m2 of old floors to be rehabilitated, and 2,050 m2 of floors to be restored
In close collaboration with a unit led by the Aisne departmental council, the Centre des monuments nationaux has incorporated social integration clauses into its public works contracts. Aiming to hire work welfare (RSA) beneficiaries, this scheme promotes local employment and has direct economic benefits for the region.
